I've been contemplating this past few months whether or not to abandon this journal. The last decent entry I wrote was last April 2009 and now it's almost the end of the year. Let's just put it this way, my mind is rotting and it ceases to do its function. Got it? ^_^ I re-read my past entries just 2 days ago and it made me realize how much I miss writing in this journal. I'm not much of a writer but being able to write entries somehow eases the burden of what I am currently thinking as of the moment. Honestly, I'm feeling like an unintelligent fool right now. I guess it's because my brain isn't doing what it's supposed to do, think. And sometimes, there are moments when my mind suddenly blanks out and I'm left with nothing like a wandering fool. Pretty complicated, eh? Welcome to my life.

It's been a great year for me when it comes to my fandoms. First Quarter of '09 introduced me to the world of BOYS OVER FLOWERS. The Korean adaptation of the well-loved Japanese Manga introduced me to the then-unknown singer/actor Kim Joon. I wasn't a fan of him at first, prefering Lee Minho over him. But as days go by, somehow I had this big realization that he was way better than Minho. LMH was way too overrated that you always see him starring in dozens of CFs. He and the lead actress of BOF (Miss-I-So-Can-Do-Everything) are like the most overrated Korean stars of 2009. I hated BOF because the storylines was way too-centric to the well-known actors (namely Lee Minho, Goo Hyesun, Kim Bum, Kim Hyun Joong & Kim Soeun) which virtually left the unknown Kim Joon with no storyline at all, just a mere extra so they can be called F4 (which is the main point of the title of the drama) rather than F3 (pffft!). But I'm still thankful to BOF because Kim Joon was recognized by fans everywhere even if he only has a few scenes. Now if only he could be in another drama. I know its far from possible but who knows? He might be in a new drama come next year! (*keeps fingers crossed*) It would really complete my 2009.<_<

Would it made a difference if BOF was written by the Hong Sisters? Yes. It's possible it would have. I wonder what got into the mind of Group8 when they decided to hire the services of Yoon Ji Ryun instead of these two. Come on! They may not be the best of the writers out there but aren't bad either. In fact, My sister and I are fan of all their works (from Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang, My Girl, Fantasy Couple, Hong Gil Dong and the recent You're Beautiful) and both of us dream that one day we get to be like them. Nothing wrong with dreaming, right? And if Group8 is planning the korean adaptation of Mischievous Kiss, how about hiring these two to write the script? Fans will certainly love you. And it wouldn't hurt to dream that they cast Kim Joon in their next drama, right? hehe-
